Nearly 40,000 public servants across the state are covered by one agreement that sets out their conditions and pay.
This Enterprise Agreement is currently in negotiation with the government.
The Public Service Association of South Australia is representing workers in these negotiations for the best outcome possible.
We are fighting for a 20% wage increase for public servants across the sector.
Included are public servants in a wide range of classifications, from ASO to OPS and PSO, from CO to PO, and more. From customer service officers, to phlebotomists, correctional officers through to managers and graduates, from inspectors and housing officers to legal officers and more, everyone is covered. It includes regional and metropolitan public servants in a wide range of departments and agencies.
Your support makes all the difference in achieving the change we are seeking for a fair increase and fast and effective negotiations.
Let’s show the Government that we have had enough of salaries that don’t keep up with other states.
Public servants deserve a pay increase that deals with the higher cost of living, and we need it without delay.

Message from the General Secretary
The cost of living has risen 24% while public sector pay has barely increased.
Public sector workers are being asked to do more with less every day. We keep the state running in some of the most challenging situations across departments such as health, correctional services, consumer and business services, education and housing.
Not only is pay outstripped by inflation, it doesn’t keep up with pay in other states. Private sector wages in South Australia have grown nearly twice as fast as public sector pay.
This is why the PSA Leadership has a laser focus on a decent pay increase for public servants.
Under the old PSA, negotiations had all but stopped. We are reinvigorating the PSA’s campaigns and engagement. This starts with pushing hard for a quick result for members who have waited too long.
Join us to push for the best outcome for all public servants. We need your support to make this happen. Follow the campaign, watch out for our alerts and be ready to lend your voice.
If you are not a member of the PSA, you are still affected by the negotiations for better public servant pay. Come along and be part of the push. All are welcome.
Together we can achieve a fair pay outcome for public servants.
