Escalations Continue: Public Sector Agreement
This morning, PSA Corrections Officers voted to move into Day 3 of statewide prison lockdowns in a continued push for an urgent resolution to the salaried agreement.
In addition, the Intensive Compliance Unit who are responsible for monitoring compliance for more than 1,500 home detention offenders across South Australia have walked off the job for 24 hours.
Today, the PSA issued notice that tomorrow, Thursday 11 December, Courts across South Australia will come to a standstill as Sheriff Officers and Lawyers collectively hold a stop work meeting. Members will determine if they take further stop work action at this meeting. This is a significant escalation and more actions may follow in the coming days.
We are also in active discussions with several other public sector agencies regarding similar industrial actions. The impact of these actions is growing, and the message is clear: this must be resolved.
We have created a crowd funder page if you would like to support striking workers who have foregone wages.
You can show your support for workers on strike at

One day longer. One day stronger.
This is what solidarity in action looks like. We are united across the public sector.
If your agency is considering a large-scale action such as a 24-hour walk off, please contact the PSA urgently.
Together, we will secure the fair and respectful outcome all public sector workers deserve.
