Mega Rally March
Join us as we take a half-day stoppage from our duties and march together for the fair, safe, and properly resourced workplaces our communities deserve.

Key Details
Date: Tomorrow! - Wednesday 26 November 2025
Where: Meet at Hindmarsh Square in the Adelaide CBD.
When: 12.30pm (sharp) we depart Hindmarsh Square, & will begin our march to SA Parliament House on North Terrace.
Hindmarsh Square: Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.
The PSA has stocked up on noisemakers, clappers, whistle, airhorns and earplugs, because we want to be loud, proud, and impossible to ignore.
March route: Hindmarsh Square > Pirie Street > King William Street > North Terrace.
For maximum impact and safety, there will be road closures along the route to SA Parliament House. With the road closures, everyone needs to follow SAPOL's guidance and our PSA Rally Safety marshals' instructions.
SA Parliament House: Once we have all arrived to parliament house, there will be speeches.
Safety note: We will have first aid officers & safety marshalls at all locations during the day, they can be identified through their pink & yellow high vis vests.
BBQ Lunch afterwards
The rally will finish at SA Parliament House, once speeches etc, have concluded.
PSA members are invited to stay for a complimentary BBQ lunch that we will supply.
The BBQ will be a short walk from Parliament House, at Torrens Parade Ground, on the corner of King William Road, and Victoria Drive.
There will be vegetarian / vegan options available, as well as drinks.
Making your own way in
Make sure to arrive 15-20 minutes early, as we will be departing Hindmarsh Square at 12.30pm sharp!
Try to avoid running late. If you're planning on driving in, please keep in mind there will be road closures on Pirie St, King William St & North Terrace once the rally has started.
Catching a PSA Bus to the rally
The buses will drop you off at Hindmarsh Square. This is our starting point for our mega rally & march to SA Parliament house. They will drop you off there prior to our march start time at: 12:30pm sharp.

Afternoon - Bus pick up times
After the BBQ, the return buses will be doing all pick ups from the Torrens Parades Grounds. There will be signage for each of the buses, and the pick up times will vary based on location.
2:00pm pick up┃Drop off to Cadell Training Centre, Boden Road, Cadell
3:30pm pick up ┃Drop Off to Mobilong Prison, 434 Maurice Road, Murray Bridge
2:30pm pick up ┃all other locations, Adelaide Women's Prison, Edwardstown, Elizabeth City Centre, Keswick, Kurlana Tapa Youth Justice Centre, Marion, Port Augusta Prison, & Yatala Labour Prison.
What to bring
PSA shirts if you have them!
Dress for the weather, BOM's forecast predicts it will be around 17° (feels like 13°), so bring a jacket!
Wear comfortable walking shoes, the route is approximately 950m.
Water / waterbottles
Sun glasses + sunscreen, for the UV protection even on a cooler day.
A small bag sling bag/backpack for any of your essentials, wallet, medication, hand sanitiser, external batteries for smartphones etc, so that you can have your hands free for:

Be prepared for it to get loud! BYO earplugs if you have them, the PSA will be providing some as well.
This rally is authorised industrial action, and your voice matters.
You are entitled to participate in industrial action, and your employer cannot take adverse action against you for doing so.
They may, however, determine that flexitime cannot be used to attend, though they cannot prevent you from attending during your lunch break.
If flexitime is not supported, they may dock your pay and may ask you to record your absence outside your lunch break.
If you are asked to do this after Wednesday's rally, we recommend complying, as it is solely for pay-docking purposes.
