2 Days to go! PSA Mega March and Rally

Your presence made a real impact and showed, once again, that when PSA members stand together, we stand strong.

What an incredible turnout as we took the EB campaign to the Southern Suburbs at the Minister for Child Protection Katrine Hildyard's office on Wednesday!

A huge shout-out to our speakers, Darrell Wedge (DCP) and Linda Magin (DIT), who shared their experiences and their wisdom. Their voices represented the thousands of workers across the public sector who are pushing for better conditions, better pay, and the respect they deserve.

Negotiations are still ongoing and are currently without prejudice. But what we can say is this: the strength of our collective voice right now is crucial. Every rally, every march, every show of solidarity strengthens our ability to secure a positive outcome and reach a fair resolution to bargaining as soon as possible.

Wednesday's Mega March is designed to show the full scale and unstoppable momentum of our movement. Our intention is clear: to make Adelaide stop and take notice. As essential public sector workers, we keep this state running and the only way to ensure this Government finally takes our concerns seriously is by standing together and showing them the sheer strength, unity, and determination of the people who deliver vital services every single day.

This is authorised industrial action, and your voice matters.

We're aware that some Departments and Agencies have circulated information about the industrial action, so we want to clarify your rights. You are entitled to participate in industrial action, and your employer cannot take adverse action against you for doing so. They may, however, determine that flexitime cannot be used to attend, though they cannot prevent you from attending during your lunch break. If flexitime is not supported, they may dock your pay and may ask you to record your absence outside your lunch break. If you are asked to do this after Wednesday's rally, we recommend complying, as it is solely for pay-docking purposes. If you have any concerns or anticipate financial hardship as a result, please get in touch - we're here to support you.

These messages are your employer trying to dissuade you from turning up at the rally because it will cause disruption. Well, disruption is the whole point of a rally and stop-work and it's how members and workers show their power. If they're trying to stop you attending, it's because your attendance matters. Stay strong. Show up. Stand together in full force.

Join us as we take a half-day stoppage from our duties and march together for the fair, safe, and properly resourced workplaces our communities deserve.

That's why we are calling on every member, very worker, across every agency, to turn out in force on Wednesday. We've stocked up on clappers, whistles, and even ear plugs because we want to be loud, proud, and impossible to ignore. The louder and larger our presence, the stronger our message: public sector workers deserve a real pay rise, and they deserve it now.

We are counting on our collective strength, and your attendance matters. Every member who shows up adds weight to the voices at the bargaining table. Every step taken together sends a message that cannot be dismissed. This is our moment to show unity, determination, and the unwavering spirit of the PSA.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Mega March and Rally on Wednesday 26 November, marching from Hindmarsh Square to Parliament House, Adelaide, and staying afterwards for a PSA-supplied BBQ at Torrens Parade Grounds.

Let's stand together. Let's be heard. And let's fight for a fair and positive outcome because when we stand as one, we win.
